I am so excited about tomorrow. It is going to be so much fun. We are going to learn so much and walk away with a whole box of new ideas. Oh wait, you don’t have a clue what I’m talking about! Ah, that is because tomorrow is a SURPRISE! I will tell you this though, it is a celebration of the creating kind. Tinkerlab.com will be 1 and she has invited a LARGE group of very talented bloggers to help mark this special day. Can you believe we are on the list! I am ecstatic (one of Little M’s favorite words).
Tomorrow’s post will be LONG, but just trust me it will be worth spending some time with. So come prepared. Set up a kid project that doesn’t need direct supervision like this one, this one or this one. Pour yourself a cup of coffee, tea, or whatever helps you settle into your computer chair. And be ready to learn (I mean play)!!!
Now for a little hint. In preparation for tomorrows activity we found this fun book. It’s one I can not believe I don’t already own.

Not A Box is so simple. The words are repetitious, the pictures are basic and the story is a perfect match for little ones with big imaginations. Because the sentences are so short, it is perfect for pre-readers. M and M took turns “reading” it (I was tired because we had already read it 20 times).
When the book closed M and M jumped up and started planning what to do with their box. . .of course you’ll have to wait for tomorrow for that!

I’m not surprised at all that you are on the list:)

Jill! I’m on pins and needles. We have that book, and I can’t believe I didn’t think of pulling it out as support material for tomorrow’s post. I never remember the whole book connection, and need to get better at that. But it’s a great book, and I’d recommend it to anyone. Looking forward to that cup of coffee!
