Children’s Book Review ~ Money

As you all know, Jill is an excellent writer, I on the other hand, am not.  I have made several attempts at writing a review for each of these books, but have decided that I will not be doing the books any justice.  So I will just tell you why I love each book.

Of all the money books S, T and I read(we read a lot) these were our three favorites.

  The Coin Counting Book

by Rozanne Lanczak Williams

I love the simple pictures and storyline.  It’s a great book to use to introduce the concept of coins/money.

Jenny Found a Penny

by Trudy Harris

I love the colorful pictures in this story.  Another excellent book for introducing money.  Also, I love that it talks about saving and earning money.

Making Cents

by Elizabeth Keeler Robinson

This book has a lot more detail in the pictures and the story is longer.  I love that the author incorporates teamwork into earning and saving money.

This book review accompanies the Money Lesson Plan.
