Your article took me back in time when my children were small and we went camping as often as we could get away. I remember one weekend it rained so hard and so much that over a two day period we had to move our tent three times because the water was rising so fast around the lake. My girls were real troopers and nobody wanted to give up and go home. We played games and ate good in between the rain showers and even the wet dog had a good time. Now I’m old, kids grown, grandkids mostly grown too, not a prepper but I do try to keep a good supply of goods to get by on and because I’ve seen these years go by and learned a little bit, I know to always keep a backup supply of water,(coleman stove at the ready & lanterns, candles, fuel, wood,etc.). I hope I never need survival skills but I would do better than most out there, today. Thanks, Jody Cooper
