This past couple of months has been a whirl wind but I think I finally have my footing. I wanted to make sure you are all up to speed on what’s going on around here.
My little break
In case you missed it our family spent the end of 2012 (and the beginning of 2013) wrapped up in my Surrogacy Journey. We were (and are) extremely grateful for the entire process, but now that it’s over I can get back to my other passion….sharing fun and easy playful learning ideas wrapped up in lovely little lesson plans!
I have an entire list of lesson plan ideas just waiting to be brought to life. YEAH!!! (Take a minute to let me know in the comment section if you have a lesson plan idea you would like for me to cover.)
You can visit the Lesson Plan section of the menu bar anytime to find the lessons we’ve already done.
While parenting posts are not my favorite thing to write, there are few tips that I just can’t help but share. Currently labeled Mommy Fun Facts on the menu bar you will find tips on Bedtime, Protecting Boundaries, Self esteem and much more!
I am also part of a new community over at G+. Art of Parenting is a group of parents who want to focus on; creative parenting solutions, simple ways to connect with kids, and gain support for positive parenting. Please join us! (If you are new to G+, don’t worry! Tomorrow I’ll give you a simple how-to-get-started tutorial.)
Raising a Creative Kid
If you haven’t picked up your copy of Raising a Creative Kid: Simple Strategies for Igniting and Nurturing that Creative Spark now is the perfect time! It’s a quick read that will have you getting creative with your kids over spring break!
Over on Pinterest I am so lucky to be one of 20 Must Follow Moms. If you are not following that board already… do it now! (I’ll wait.) You won’t believe the awesome content that is pinned to that board. Of course with great contributors like TinkerLab, Hands On: As we Grow, Creative with Kids, Peanut Blossom and Teach Preschool it’s not really that surprising!
You can also sign up to receive every post right in your email inbox! It’s easy just enter your email address below.
I guess that gets you all caught up. Did I forget anything? Leave me a comment and let me know what Lesson Plan and Parenting posts you would like to see!
