If you read yesterday's book review you surely know that I am a HUGE fan of the character Jane O'Connor and Robin Preiss Glasser have created. Fancy Nancy is somewhat of a celebrity in our house. I just about jumped out of my seat when I saw this... Yep! Fancy Nancy is growing up (right along with her readers)! I will honestly say I was worried. Sometimes a drastic change can be scary. Would Jane O' Connor be able to keep all of the qualities I love so much while stretching into chapter books? Let me assure you she is one talented writer... It's been a while since I've done a book review and I think it's time I tell you about a book (or series of books) that we can't live without. Fancy Nancy written by Jane O' Connor and Illustrated by Robin Preiss Glasser . She's fancy alright, but she is so much more than that. She's funny, smart, kind and not at all perfect.
