Ready for one more princess party game? This one is a big one. . .so it gets its very own post.
Kiss the frog
The idea that inspired this was a simple princess version of pin the tail on the donkey. I just had to take it one step further with a super fun bean bag toss.
First I made the Kissy Bean Bags
what you need: Lip Tracer ~ sharpie ~pink felt ~ hot glue gun ~ embroidery thread ~ embroidery needle ~ beans

I started off by tracing the lips onto a manila folder, (you could use card stock or poster board too). Then I traced 8 lips onto pink felt. Once they were all cut out, I embroidered the center lip with pink embroidery thread on 4 of the lips. I like to embroider, but if you would rather just use a pink marker the effect would be the same.
I used a hot glue gun to glue around the bottom edge of one of the unembroidered lips. Once I had the embroidered piece in place I glued HALF of the top lip, leaving an opening for the beans. I filled the beanbag and then glued the lips shut.

Aren’t they adorable?!?!?!
Of course I like them even better like this. . .

then it was time for the frog board
My plan was to use a poster board to draw a frog and then glue it onto a piece of wood. Of course I mentioned it to my hubby and he just couldn’t resist turning it into the most AWESOME frog beanbag toss board ever! We wouldn’t expect anything less from Wonder Dad.
We made it a family project and M, M and I got to work painting.
We ended up with this. . .
I think we make a pretty good team!
The game was really fun. I called each kid up for their turn and let them throw the kisses. I started them pretty far back and had them take a big step forward if they needed it. Notice my 92 year old Grandma (aka Gigi) enjoying the action.

The best part is, someone got a picture of each kid in the frog mouth. What a great surprise for me!

I was so happy with the way the all the games transitioned. To see click here and here and here. It was a fabulous party and everyone ate lots of cupcakes. . . more on that tomorrow!

Go grandma! It’s been so long that I forgot about bean bag tosses. I feel so old. It must have been 25 years ago ( I can’t believe I can say that. *sadness*).

I love this frog!!! Could you tell me the dimensions of the frog?
Thanks!
Leslie, My hubby said it’s about 32″ by 28″ (10″ deep with the stand). Hope that helps!

Precious game! I know how much time that must have taken…but it looks like it was worth it. How fun!
