Ricki Lake is back!

So… do you know what I did yesterday? I went to the taping of The Ricki Lake show!!! That’s right, Ricki is back and better than ever.  I had so much fun, and while watching an old favorite start a new chapter was the highlight I have so much more to tell you!

#1 While I know tons about kids and playful learning, fashion is not my strength. I wanted to look my best for the show (Of COURSE!) so I reached out to some friends of mine. I begged for help on my Facebook page and this is the awesomeness that followed.

#2 It was so fun meeting other bloggers!

Liz from Everyday Goddess, Heidi from Girl to Mom, and Sarah from Mommy Lite were among the group of amazing women I had the chance to chat with while we waited to enter the studio.

#3 I ate my very first vegan meal. Portabella Mushroom Burger with Sweet Potato fries at Native Foods. Wow was it delish! (No I’m not planning to give up cheese and eggs… or chicken!)

#5 I was in the car for 6 hours total yesterday and let me tell you… this stay at home mama likes to be in the house much more than in the car!

I was so exhausted I feel asleep while getting the kids ready for bed. Lucky for me Hubs noticed and finished up the job. I’m so lucky.

Thank you Elisa (cofounder of BlogHer) it was an incredible day, I can’t wait to meet up with you again.
